Summer. The
time of sunshine, mallows, friends, and BBQs. While most people have started
their summer body transformation diets, I have started my anti social hermit
lifestyle diet. This is no ordinary diet; this rigorous diet includes plenty of
sleep, little to no texting, and loads of food network channel. I think I am in
denial, all my bestest friends are spending their summers in places like
Romania, El Salvador, South Africa, Spain, and Hawaii...I am in Orem, Utah. I am missing them WAY too much.
While normal people fill their summer day’s poolside, hanging with friends, and
other various activities I have settled into a nice schedule of my own. I call
this schedule, “lockdown mode”, every good diets got one these days:
8am: work
12ish: Lunch
5pm: Off work
6pm: Home, dinner
6:30pm: workout and catch some rays
8pm: Turn on food network
11pm: Up to bed
12am: Sleepy sleeping
I got to skype my bff today. I almost cried when I saw her
for the first time! (for those of you who know me this is no surprise at all, I
cry all the time). Needless to say it has been the best part of my summer so
far.
Having her gone has taught me a valuable lesson. Show appreciation for the important people in your life while they are still in your life. So as you can imagine I can’t WAIT for her to come home and be my roommate. It shall be a joyous occasion! Until then, I may just keep being a anti social hermit….cause lets face it I’m ROCKIN it! You wouldn’t believe all the pictures I have taken of myself on photobooth. I am not joking, one does not truly know me until you’ve seen my
photobooth pictures….just to give you an idea….
I would suggest that you mention the plans you're making for Cousins Camp. That's very productive living! So fun reading your blog.
